Guide to Stress-free Prom Shopping: Tips and Places to Find Your Look

With prom season swiftly approaching, it’s time to start shopping. Shopping for prom can be stressful as there are many choices to make. Here are some helpful tips to guide you this prom season:

Set Your Budget

The most important part of prom shopping is setting a budget for yourself. This will help you narrow down options and prevent overspending.

Start Early

Don’t wait until the last minute to shop for prom. Begin your search months ahead so that you can find the right outfit for you.

Trial and Error

If you’re looking to purchase a dress online, order it now so you have time to receive it, try it on and determine whether you like it or not. That way, you have plenty of time to return it and find something else if necessary.

Alterations

On top of purchasing a dress early and trying it on, it could also be important to get your prom dress altered if you see fit. This can take a little bit of time, so it’s also important to plan accordingly.

Schedule Appointments

If you wanna shop in-store, some places make appointments months in advance. So it’s important to book appointments for in-store visits now.

Shop Locally

To save money on all aspects of prom shopping. Our high school is right down the street from Rosedale shopping center. There are tons of budget-friendly stores such as Macy’s, Windsor, Evereve, etc. to choose from.
