Songs For When Your Holiday Festivities Get Intense

Songs+For+When+Your+Holiday+Festivities+Get+Intense

We’re turning the corner into holiday season and it’s always nice to have some chill, cozy music to play while the weather gets colder and darker.

Plus, you might need some relief at those upcoming family gatherings. While your parents are stressed about getting dinner ready, your grandma is rambling  about her book club, your grandpa is fixing that one wobbly chair and your siblings are running madly around, a good playlist might be necessary.

Here are some chill tunes to relieve some of the holiday/winter intensity.

The Winter Solstice by Sufjan Stevens

Nothing Burns Like the Cold by Snoh Aalegra

Coffee by Sylvan Esso

Where I’ll Find You by Joan Shelley

For You by Laura Marling

Promises by Cleo Sol

Northern Attitude ft. Hozier by Noah Kahan

Dancing Circles by Sampha

Reese by Big Red Machine

Hey everyone! My name is Annika and I’m a junior at RAHS. This is my second year writing for The Ville, and I’m excited to be the Arts and Entertainment Junior Editor! When I’m not running cross country or track, I like to sing, read, and hang out with friends.
