On May 8th, RAHS will be hosting its annual band boosters extravaganza event.
One of the most talked about things from the extravaganza is the performances done by students. A variety of groups perform, typically with covers of popular songs
When asked about what she was most excited for, Maggie Ceiling (9) of the group The Glorious Pony Parade said, “ I’ve never been a vocalist before, so that’s going to be fun.”
One of the main goals of this event is to raise money for the music department here at RAHS.
There are various ways to provide donations. There are raffle baskets, where raffle tickets can be purchased for a chance to win a basket full with items relating to a certain theme. A few of the themes for the baskets this year are state fair, lego, and music.
Every year, special edition rahs band t-shirts are sold. These are typically a hot item as they have different colors than the regular design and there is a set , limited quantity.
This event is a great way for students and families to get involved in the school and especially with the music programs here at RAHS.
