This year many shows and movies are being released on platforms and in theaters, many coming out this summer, it’s also a time to return to special movies.
Marlin Mendoza, a sophomore at RAHS had a recommendation for a summer show being featured, “I like The Summer I Turned Pretty, it’s a complicated but good show“ said Mendoza, which comes out July 16th. “Many kids grow up watching movies or shows, I think they have special connections with them because of that nostalgic feeling,” said Mendoza.
Jazmin Anderson, grade 10, said she is interested in seeing “Happy Gilmore 2”, coming out on July 25th, and the new “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, coming out on July 18th. “Twilight is my favorite movie, the plot between two main characters can make it upsetting.”
