They Both Die at The End written by Adam Silvera is a YA LGBTQ sci-fi romance. The story follows Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio after they get a life changing phone call telling them they are going to die today. Faced with this grim news both Mateo and Rufus decide they want to make one last friend. Through an app aptly titled “Last Friend”, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure, to live a lifetime in a single day.

They Both Die at The End  is a beautifully written, and emotional unexpected love story.  This book was almost impossible to put down. We go into this with the knowledge they both are going to die but we don’t know when. Silvera keeps us on edge wondering when it’s about to happen. This whole book was full of turns but the biggest turn is the end.
