Black Adam (2022)= I’m going to get this out of the way: The movie isn’t concerned with being “high class”or a “masterpiece”, it just wants to be a big dumb action movie and it succeeds at that.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson plays a bland and stoic superhero that attempts to lead the movie, but is poorly written so the writers bring in other of DC’s comic book heroes to keep the audience’s interest. Sadly, most of the characters are also poorly written and unengaging (with the exception of Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate, he was quite fun to watch).

That being said, the visual effects and action are good and engaging, and the film is most certainly watchable.
