Boys Basketball
The RAHS Boys Basketball team, coached by Alexander Culver, has their season just around the corner and the talk around the team is to improve on last season.
Coming off a 4-14 season, seniors Josh Levine and Hayden Pierce mutually agreed the goal was to get more wins than last season and to have fun with their teammates.
Something about this team that makes them special is that a large number of the seniors have been playing with each other since an early age.
“A lot of us have played on the same team since we were in the 4th grade so it’s just fun to see our growth,” said senior Josh Levine
Some key players for the Raiders this season are star senior guard Keyon Broussard and Abdiaziz Isaack.
Big games to look forward to this season are against rival schools Mounds View and Cretin-Derham Hall.
A lot of the leadership on the team will be split up between the large senior presence on the team.
The Raiders have an exciting upcoming season with a very experienced team. Tip-off begins December 3rd, at home against Anoka.
