Ready to Think About Next Year?  2021-22 Registration is Open at RAHS

Tara Miller, Staff Adviser

Registration for the 2021-22 school year is underway at Roseville Area High School.

Throughout January students will explore the course guide for their upcoming grade level, select classes that fit their needs and register online by Friday, January 15th.  Materials for registration can be found on a student’s grade level course page on Schoology.

Registration is required for all RAHS students, even if they are unsure of their plans for next year.

Two new courses are available for next year.  The first is DECA and Entrepreneurship which is a two tri class offered to juniors and seniors.  The course will teach students skills needed in high paced business environments.

The other new course is dual language immersion language arts, which teaches language arts skills like: writing, argument, grammar and literary analysis in Spanish.  This course is offered to 9th graders who have previously taken Spanish dual language immersion classes.

There is also a change to the required physical education course offerings. Physical education 10/11 has changed to physical education II and students can take this physical education credit anytime between 10-12th grade.

To help students with registration the RAHS counselors will be available school days from 8am-9am and 1:30-2:30.  The link to their Zoom session is posted in Schoology.

Students can also find answers to their questions by viewing the RAHS counselor Youtube channel, which will have lots of videos about registration and  other counselor-related content.
