RAHS Seniors have had many memorable moments in classes during their high school careers. Favorite classes span from those that allowed students to relax to those that challenged them to grow.
Justin Joriman said, “Team Activities was my favorite elective class, I liked how we were able to play many different team games. And without the fitness testing, it helped me enjoy the trimester as a whole.”
While electives are fun, there were also difficulties with classes. Kellen O’rourke said “AP Pre-Calculus gave me the biggest challenges, with the class being very fast paced it was hard to keep up at times and stay on top of things.”
Gym classes were a common favorite for this year’s senior class. Along with Joriman, Cody Cregan said “Gym class gave me the best memories with my friends, it also allowed me to meet new people who share the same interests as me.”
Cregan also had a passion for the trade industry. Throughout high school, Cregan took every Woodworking class up to Woods Five. “My plan after high school was to go into the trade industry, and classes like woodworking helped me pursue my future career.”
With many proud moments, Lily Peterfeso said, “My proudest moment of High School was pushing through College Algebra and earning the college credit, it was a difficult class for me so I felt amazing when I had completed my goal.”
Music offerings are another big part of RAHS, Alden Homzik participated in Jazz all four years of high school. Homzik said “my favorite memory of Jazz was this year, we got first place at a competition in Eau Claire.”
Anthony Black said CIS English, a college class taken in school, was the hardest class he’s taken. “I decided to take this English class and it challenged me in every way, but I am glad I took it because I learned a lot.”
Noah George said that gym and team activities were his favorite classes. “Playing Basketball with my friends during gym were some of my favorite memories throughout high school, at times games would get really competitive.”
Math, a challenging subject to many. Collin Hites said that “Advanced Algebra my sophomore year gave me many challenges through the year. I put so much time and effort into that class.”
Homecoming is a favorite for most here at RAHS. Aidan Simmons said that “The homecoming football game has always been one of my favorite events every year. The blackout theme, and the fun atmosphere poised for a great Friday night.”
