Trio:

Louis Hunter is owner of Trio plant based. This is the first Black owned soul food restaurant that is 100% vegan in Minneapolis. Hunter said to Kare11 that in the midst of the murder of his cousin Philando Castille, his community helped him and he opened the restaurant as a way of giving back and promoting healthy living. Trio has been featured on Forbes, Today, Peta, The Jason show, and many more. From the sweet bowl consisting of yams, mac and cheese, and vegan cornbread or the The Lou, with barbeque cauliflower wings in a wrap, Trio has got it all.
