The Cafe Meow, half cafe and half cat adoption site, has recently opened a new location off of Lexington Parkway in Roseville.
The overall vibe of the place is cozy and calm. There are two separate rooms, one without the cats and one with the cats. Going in to play with the cats is an additional cost but visitors are allowed to take food and drink in with the cats. Structures for the cats to play on fill the cat-room, as do water bowls and instructions for how to best interact with resident cats.
What I love about the cafe is they are super focused on finding the cats new homes. As of the time of this review, The Cafe Meow has adopted out 1,152 cats which visitors can see promoted on signs and on their Instagram account. They also promote a local business called Purrniture. This is where all their cat climbers come from.
Cafe Meow also are gives back to the community providing the elderly with a place to socialize and maybe meet a new furry friend.
The staff at The Cafe Meow are nice and willing to help with any questions you have about the cats. On top of that, the food and drinks are pretty good.
It is definitely worth a visit and makes an especially fun outing with friends.
